The problem
You find a plumber by asking around
A neighbour knows someone, who knows someone. When it works, it is perfect. When it does not — the job is botched, the price doubles at the end, the person never comes back — there is no recourse, and no way to warn the next customer.
And there is the opposite problem, which is talked about less: a good professional with no network takes years to become known. Their work is not enough; they need to be recommended.
What we bring
We check who is who, the rest happens between you
Everyone who signs up sends an identity document and a selfie, which a person on our team examines — not a machine. Higher-risk trades require more: a criminal record extract for childcare, a licence for a driver, a licence to practise for a doctor.
The price and the terms are written down before the work starts, and reviews are two-way: neither side sees the other's until they have written their own.

We are starting in Cameroon. Six West African countries will follow once we have proved the model works at home.
