What it brings you

Work that gets seen

You know how to do your job. What you are missing is for that to be known beyond the people who already know you. Here is what Sarréh changes — and what it costs you.

You know who is writing to you

Every request comes from an account, with an email address confirmed by code. And it is written down: what needs doing, the day, the time, the neighbourhood. You know what you are answering before you answer — no more unknown numbers and “it’s only a small job”.

Word of mouth, but written down

Every job well done leaves a trace: a rating, a review, one more customer recommending you without picking up the phone. That is what replaces the network most people spend ten years building.

Your prices, your hours, your neighbourhoods

You set your rate, you accept or refuse without justifying yourself, and you decide how far you travel. Sarréh does not employ you and imposes nothing.

Free for the whole launch period

No sign-up fee, no subscription, no listing charge, no commission during the launch period. Only the mobile money operator's fees are deducted.

The money is with Sarréh before you start

The customer pays the moment they accept your offer, and Sarréh holds the amount until the end. They cannot take it back on their own. Once the work is confirmed it joins your balance — and if they forget to confirm, it is released the next day anyway. You request the payout whenever you like.

We explain it before, not after

Before your first listing, a short walkthrough: how you get paid, when to have the customer confirm, and the traps of your own trade — the expensive ones, usually learnt by making them. You can read it again whenever you like.

Before you start

The documents to have ready

Not all of them are required. What is depends on your trade.

Everyone A valid identity document, and a selfie. The CNI receipt (récépissé) is accepted: the card itself takes months to arrive, and that wait must not stop you starting.
Childcare, elderly care, house guarding, home cooking Two reachable people who vouch for you — we call them. This is the category where a single bad encounter is one too many, and a phone call verifies today what a certificate only promises on paper. A criminal record extract (bulletin n°3) is still welcome and raises your trust level, but it is not required.
Drivers The driving licence, with its category. If you drive your own vehicle, one document of your choice: registration, insurance, or proof of ownership. Without a vehicle, we ask for nothing more.
Electrical work and air conditioning Proof of competence, one of four: a trade diploma (CAP/CQP), two recommendations from recent jobs, a technical interview passed, or trusted provider status. It is the one building trade where a document is required.
Other building trades No diploma required. Photos of your sites are often worth more than a certificate.
Tutoring Student: proof of studies, one of four — enrolment certificate, diploma, transcript of records or student card. Teacher: proof of profession. Lessons take place at the customer’s home, with a parent present or reachable.
Salon or beauty institute The address of the establishment, required — a line to write, not a paper to photograph. Our team may come and see it. Photos of the studio and the trade register number are welcome but not required. If you only travel to customers, no address is asked of you. Massage does not travel at launch: institute only.
Company Proof the business exists, one of two: trade register (RCCM) or tax number (the NIU in Cameroon). Either one is enough. Professional liability insurance is welcome.

No diploma? That is not a blocker in most trades. Work well done, happy customers and steady reviews raise your trust level — sometimes higher than a qualified provider nobody has heard of.

Frequently asked

What providers ask us

How long does approval take?

Usually one to two working days. We may call you if a document is unreadable or if your trade needs a reinforced check — that is the case for care, childcare and house guarding, where we call your two references. You hear back either way, including if you are turned down, with the reason.

Do I set my own prices?

Entirely. You give a starting price on your listing, then send a priced offer for each request. Sarréh imposes no rate and puts you in competition on no fixed price.

Can I turn down a request?

Always, and without justifying yourself. You are independent: you choose your jobs, your hours and your neighbourhoods. Turning down a request does not harm your rating.

Is there any training to follow?

Yes, once, just before your first listing. It takes a few minutes and reads screen by screen: what we promised the customer, how you get paid, why you must never leave the place of the service without the customer's confirmation, and the traps specific to your trade.

That last part changes with what you do: a driver reads that you never carry a parcel you have not seen, a cook that you ask about allergies every time, a care worker that you never hand over a medicine. You can read it again from your account whenever you like.

What do customers see of my profile?

Your listing title, your trade, your city and service area, your starting price, your photos and your description. Then what we have checked — identity, phone number, trade documents — named, never shown: someone reads “Driving licence verified”, not your licence. And your rating, your reviews, the number of jobs done.

Your full name, your address and the documents themselves never leave the verification.

What if a customer does not pay me?

The question no longer arises the way it used to: the customer pays when they accept your offer, and Sarréh holds the amount until the job is done. You never travel out without the money existing.

What can happen is that they forget to confirm once the work is finished. That same evening they get a reminder: the amount is released within twenty-four hours unless they report a problem. And if they dispute it, report it from the conversation — the money is still with us, and it does not move until our team has looked.

What happens at the end of the launch period?

Any change will be announced in advance and explained, never applied overnight. And you stay free to leave with your customers: Sarréh adds to your business, it does not hold on to it.
