Not all of them are required. What is depends on your trade.
| Everyone |
A valid identity document, and a selfie. The CNI receipt (récépissé) is
accepted: the card itself takes months to arrive, and that wait must not stop
you starting. |
| Childcare, elderly care, house guarding, home cooking |
Two reachable people who vouch for you — we call them. This is the category where a
single bad encounter is one too many, and a phone call verifies today what a certificate
only promises on paper. A criminal record extract (bulletin n°3) is still welcome and
raises your trust level, but it is not required. |
| Drivers |
The driving licence, with its category. If you drive your own vehicle, one
document of your choice: registration, insurance, or proof of ownership.
Without a vehicle, we ask for nothing more. |
| Electrical work and air conditioning |
Proof of competence, one of four: a trade diploma (CAP/CQP), two
recommendations from recent jobs, a technical interview passed, or trusted provider
status. It is the one building trade where a document is required. |
| Other building trades |
No diploma required. Photos of your sites are often worth more than a certificate. |
| Tutoring |
Student: proof of studies, one of four — enrolment certificate,
diploma, transcript of records or student card. Teacher: proof of profession. Lessons
take place at the customer’s home, with a parent present or reachable. |
| Salon or beauty institute |
The address of the establishment, required — a line to write, not a paper to
photograph. Our team may come and see it. Photos of the studio and the trade register
number are welcome but not required. If you only travel to customers, no address is
asked of you. Massage does not travel at launch: institute only. |
| Company |
Proof the business exists, one of two: trade register (RCCM) or tax
number (the NIU in Cameroon). Either one is enough. Professional liability
insurance is welcome. |
