Community manager
Douala or Yaoundé · full time · three-year degree and portfolio
Sarréh connects households with verified professionals — cleaning, plumbing, hairdressing, childcare — in Douala and Yaoundé.
The role
What you will do
You are the voice of Sarréh wherever it shows up. The tone, the images, the way we speak: you build them.
- Write and produce the content: photos, short videos, posts
- Run the accounts day to day — TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp
- Keep the month's editorial calendar, and stick to it
- Build the paid campaigns on Meta, follow the results and correct them
- Answer what people write in public, including when it stings
- Propose the marketing strategy, measure it, correct it
- Work with the field team: their encounters make your best stories
To apply
What it takes
- A three-year degree in communication, digital marketing, journalism or equivalent
- Two years of experience at minimum on real accounts — a serious internship counts
- A portfolio we can open: the pages you have run, the visuals and videos you have produced, and what they returned in figures
- Design and editing: Canva and Photoshop, CapCut or InShot — at the level where you produce without asking for help
- Paid advertising: build a Meta Ads campaign, read its dashboard, and say when to stop it
- Flawless written French, and English that holds a professional conversation
- Live in Douala or Yaoundé, or be ready to move there
What we offer
What you get out of it
- An attractive salary — the figure is agreed at interview
- Flexible hours — you organise your own week
- A financial bonus when the results are there
- A flat structure — you talk to the founders directly
- Your ideas get built, they do not go up in a report
The other open role: provider recruiter.
