Provider recruiter

Douala or Yaoundé · field work · school leaving certificate and sales experience

Sarréh connects households with verified professionals — cleaning, plumbing, hairdressing, childcare — in Douala and Yaoundé.

The role

What you will do

Go and find the professionals where they already are, and stay with them until their first listing goes live. Half the job happens on a phone, the other half in the street.

  • Find them: WhatsApp groups, Facebook pages, TikTok, Instagram, and face to face in the neighbourhoods
  • Explain Sarréh to someone who has never heard of it, in two minutes
  • Help them create the account and get their identity checked
  • Walk them through filing their trade documents — the papers change with the trade
  • Stay until the first listing is published: that is where the work counts
  • Report your days in writing: their objections tell us what to fix

To apply

What it takes

  • School leaving certificate at minimum. A qualification in sales, trade or management puts you ahead
  • At least one year in prospecting, sales or network building — tell us how many people you convinced, and of what
  • Be comfortable approaching someone who is not expecting you, and taking a no
  • Know the neighbourhoods of Douala or Yaoundé, and be able to move around them
  • French and English: enough to explain a contract to someone who has never read one
  • Know your way around an Android phone, and report your day in writing

What we offer

What you get out of it

  • An attractive salary — the figure is agreed at interview
  • Flexible hours — you organise your own week
  • A financial bonus when the results are there
  • A flat structure — you talk to the founders directly
  • Your ideas get built, they do not go up in a report
